Fundraisers

Since its inception in 1990, the St. Andrew Alumnae Association Washington, DC, Chapter has gained a reputation for hosting quality fundraising events that unite Jamaicans, our Caribbean and American friends in the DC Metro area. We’ve held dinner parties, social mixers, Independence dances, art shows and exhibits, tea parties, fetes, golf tournaments, and yard sales. We are constantly looking for innovative ways to continue to build our brand in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.

2019 Summer Fundraising Fete " Haul N Pull Up"

2019 Annual General Meeting
The 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in early October. We’ll begin with a social hour and networking session, followed by a business meeting and presentation. Members will receive detailed information prior to the AGM.

Board Meetings
The Association convenes scheduled board meetings 3 times annually. Though they are primarily for the Board to meet we invite all members to attend. The Association schedules special meetings as needed to deal with important and urgent issues. We have the flexibility to arrange Board or special meetings as conference calls or in-person meetings.
